Aims of the study visit
The aim of the Group Study Exchange is to provide young professionals with opportunities of meeting new cultures on the vocational, cultural and social level. The programme aims at establishing worldwide networks between professionals.

Aims of the report
This report serves to give an impression of the GSE study visit that took place from 7 April through 12 May 2001. Participants were

team leader Jan Harring and team members Christina Borring, Pernille Engelmann Olsen, Tina Dykjær Fogelberg and Carsten Møller. The participants represented the Rotary district 1470 in Denmark.

The report does not give a fulfilling day to day report of all the activities that took place, but it is the intention of the team to pass on as many impressions as possible from the marvellous trip.

We hope that everyone who reads this report will be able to share all our great experiences with us.

The target groups of the report
The report has a number of target groups. First of all it is made for our host families in Cordoba, La Rioja and Catamarca provinces. Secondly, it is addressed for the Rotary Foundation that made the trip possible. Besides these, the team wishes to offer this report to all our sponsors in Denmark.

Acknowledgements for the Rotary districts
The team wishes to thank the Rotary districts 4810 and 1470 for giving us this experience.

The whole team was overwhelmed by the hospitality and enthusiasm shown to us by all the Argentine Rotarians involved in the study visit.

We fully recognise the effort of planning and co-ordinating the activities and visits that took place during our stay. It is impressing that this job is carried out on a voluntary basis, and we all believe that this fact is a strong backbone in the global Rotary network.

Each team member has made a short evaluation of the study visit. The evaluations are found on page 49.

Acknowledgements for our sponsors
Our sponsors made it possible for us to join the study visit without extra expenses. In respect of the sponsors’ discretion we have not mentioned the value of the sponsorships, but the names and logos of our sponsors are found on the last page of the report.
We wish to thank all the sponsors for supporting our study visit. We believe you made a pretty good investment!

Acknowledgements for Jacob Webmaster
Who made it possible for us to communicate with our families and friends during the trip? Who designed a great and original web site for the team? Who made it possible for 2500 people to read about our study visit?

No less than Jacob Engelmann Olsen, our honoured Webmaster! Thank you Jacob for your great effort. We hope you enjoyed your helicopter trip as much as we enjoyed the web site through the whole process of the exchange project.
