After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering, Bachelor of Science, have I worked at W.S Shamban Europa A/S. As a manager of the productiondepartment. I combine the technical knowledge with the ability to communicate it, the man/machine connection, so to speak. I feel that having employees that are knowledgable in how to use the equipment correctly optimises both the production and quality of the product, which is satisfying both for the staff and, in the end, our customers. In other words: productionoptimising, rationalising and qualityimprovement. 

In my spare-time I spend as much time as possible with my wife and our 2 children. We have recently bought ourselves a motor boat, in which we go for many lovely trips along the coast of North Zealand. I also have a passion for food. Both cooking and eating it.

Hopes and expectations of the trip: The opportunity to live with, and hopefully becoming a part of, a local family would give me a fantastic opportunity to get to know the country, its culture and customs first hand. 

As a brand new Head of Department my main focus or interest is to look at similar businesses, especially at how they handle employees, productionflow and machinery. If at all possible it would be interesting to visit our customers and get a first hand impression of how the product is being used.
